Spicy Grilled Flat Iron Steak
Ingredients (for about 4 people)
1-2 Flatiron Steaks to 800 grams
1 tablespoon chili powder
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
½ teaspoon garlic salt
½ teaspoon dried parsley
2 tablespoons brown sugar
½ teaspoon cumin
olive oil
Salt and pepper
Preparation:
1) Mix all ingredients in a bowl. If necessary, add a pinch of salt and pepper.
2) Rub the steaks with the spice and oil. Make sure everything is evenly distributed.
3) Bake in a grill pan over high heat (or on a BBQ directly over high heat) until a nice brown color. Core temperature around 57 degrees Celsius.
4) Turn the steaks covered with foil for 5-10 minutes away.
5) Cut the steaks on the wire into slices and serve with grilled vegetables and baked potato with herb butter.
